Dear Designer,

We welcome you to help us make this year’s Festival of Trees the best ever! This two-day event is held the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, at the Garrett County Fairgrounds Agriculture Hall. Your creation can be delivered on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Your designs will be judged by three members of the Garrett County Arts Council, and you will receive a prize ribbon.

The event concludes with the Grand Finale Live Auction, on Saturday evening. All designer entries will be sold to benefit the Dove Center, Garrett County’s domestic violence and sexual assault program. As a designer, you will receive two free passes to the Festival, including the auction. We encourage you to attend this exciting event! (We do not publicize what items sell for in the auction, so if you would like to know what your item sells for, please join us for the bidding!)

We would love it if you would share photos of your work-in-progress with us, to utilize for publicity prior to the event. This will help us build interest in the event, your design piece, and your organization or business. Photos can be emailed to info@gcfot.org, or messaged through Facebook to Festival of Trees, Garrett County.

The designer showcase of trees, wreaths, centerpieces, and special items is the highlight of the Festival of Trees. We look forward to seeing your spectacular creations, and we truly appreciate your support of this event!
